At the Ramona Fitness Center, we want you to find the program that works best for YOU. Our General Fitness Classes include a wide range of offerings that range from high intensity, calorie burning workouts to total body strengthening and stabilization.

Classes include:

Cycle

Indoor cycling is a complete cardiovascular challenge. Each participant can adjust their own workout on their individual bike. This class simulates a road ride and will incorporate music as a motivational tool.

PiYo Strength Fusion

A unique class designed to build strength, balance & gain flexibility. The moves fit perfectly together to form a class set to low-key music filled with moves that are fun, challenging and will make you sweat. Itʼs about increasing energy, power, and rhythm. Think sculpted abdominals, increased overall core strength, and greater stability. A sticky mat is required.

Silver Sneakers® Classic

Muscular Strength and Range of Movement: Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered to resistance, and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support.

Silver Sneakers® Cardio

Get Up & Go with an aerobics class for you – safe, heart-healthy and gentle on the joints. The workout includes easy-to-follow low-impact movement and upper-body strength, abdominal conditioning, stretching and relaxation exercises designed to energize your active lifestyle. This is a free standing class.

SilverSneakers® Yoga

Yoga will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of postures designed to increase flexibility, balance, and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.

Turbo Kick

THE ultimate cardiovascular challenge, complete with a sport specific warm-up, bouts of intense intervals, easy to follow combinations, kickboxing specific strength and endurance training and a flowing cool down. Participants will reshape their bodies in half the time by using upper and lower body movements together! Get moving to the hottest music around with high-energy, and cutting edge choreography. Turbo Kick® Is the evolution of kickboxing!

Personal Training Ramona

Yoga

This 75 minute Hatha Yoga class is appropriate for beginning Yoga students as well as advanced students wanting a deep stretch with a less challenging flow. Students are encouraged to practice Asanas, yoga positions or postures, at their own pace. Most Asanas will be performed in a sitting or grounded position on the mat. This class also incorporates Pranayama (breath work) as well as relaxation and meditation techniques.

Zumba

The Zumba® program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away. Our goal is simple: We want you to want to work out, to love working out, and to get hooked. Zumba® Fanatics achieve long-term benefits while experiencing an absolute blast in one exciting hour of calorie-burning, body energizing, awe-inspiring movements meant to engage and captivate for life!

Zumba Basics

Looking for a modified Zumba® class that recreates the original moves you love at a lower-intensity? The design of the class introduces easy-to-follow Zumba® choreography that focuses on balance, range of motion and coordination. Come ready to sweat, and prepare to leave empowered and feeling strong.

Country Heat

Country Heat is a high-energy, low-impact, country dance-inspired fitness program that so totally fires up the fun—you won’t even feel like you’re working out!  Each dance routine is packed with easy-to-follow moves set to good ‘ol country music.  All you have to do is follow along!

Make It Fit Your Routine

With morning and evening offerings for a number of our General Fitness Classes, we want you to find a time that fits your day best. Just can't get up in time for the 8 a.m. Kardio Pump? Not a problem. Swing by after work and catch the 6 p.m. Zumba. Most classes are 50 minutes long.
